1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Mntvls Auto website and our pre-purchase car inspection services (the "Services"), provided by Mntvls Auto ("we", "us", "our"), operating in Ireland. By requesting a quote, booking an inspection, or otherwise using our Services, you ("you", "client") agree to these Terms.

2. Our Services

We provide independent, non-invasive pre-purchase inspections of used vehicles at the seller's location, anywhere in Ireland, including:

• Single Car Inspection — a full mechanical, electrical, bodywork and diagnostic check of one vehicle, plus a vehicle history and finance check.
• Multiple Car Comparison — inspection of several vehicles in one day for buyers comparing options.

Additional add-on services (for example car search or computer diagnostics) may be offered separately and are described at the time of booking.

3. Booking & Quotes

To book an inspection, submit your details (the car's make, model, year, registration and location) via our website or by phone. We will confirm a fixed price and appointment time before any work begins. A non-refundable start fee is payable to confirm your booking; this fee starts the process and, where applicable, forms part of your total inspection fee.

4. Payment

Fees are agreed and fixed upfront before we attend the inspection. Payment is made securely online (for example via Revolut) unless otherwise agreed. We do not charge hidden fees; any additional work outside the agreed scope will be discussed and agreed with you first.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may reschedule or cancel your booking by contacting us as soon as possible. The start fee is non-refundable once paid, as it covers the cost of arranging and confirming your booking. If we are unable to attend at the agreed time for reasons within our control, we will offer a full refund or a free rescheduling.

6. Nature and Limitations of the Inspection

Our inspections are visual, mechanical and diagnostic assessments carried out using reasonable skill and care, based on the vehicle's condition and the information available on the day of inspection. They:

• Do not involve dismantling the vehicle or removing components;
• Cannot guarantee the discovery of every fault, especially latent, intermittent or hidden defects not detectable through standard inspection methods;
• Reflect the vehicle's condition only at the time of inspection, not at any later date;
• Are not a warranty, guarantee or valuation of the vehicle, and do not replace a manufacturer or independent warranty.

The final decision to purchase (or not purchase) any vehicle remains solely with you. We recommend using our report as one part of your own due diligence.

7. Vehicle History & Finance Checks

Where included, history and finance checks rely on third-party databases and the information available to those providers at the time of the check. We are not responsible for inaccuracies or omissions in third-party data.

8. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information about the vehicle and to arrange the seller's cooperation and access to the vehicle at the agreed time and location. Delays or access issues caused by the seller or client may affect the inspection timeline or require rescheduling.

9. Reports

The inspection report is prepared for your personal use only, in connection with your purchase decision, and is not intended for reliance by any third party. We may decline responsibility for any use of the report beyond this purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the fee paid for the relevant inspection. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or losses arising from your decision to purchase or not purchase a vehicle.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics and logos, is owned by or licensed to Mntvls Auto and may not be reproduced without our permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
